BACARDÍ once again brought the #SoundOfRum to the Governors Ball Music Festival this year with BACARDÍ Bay at Randall’s Island in Manhattan. Over the weekend, BACARDÍ opened its doors to BACARDÍ Bay, an exclusive island-inspired event space featuring surprise performances, refreshing cocktails, hammocks, day boats and a two-story bar with the best views at Governors Ball.

Signature cocktails like the Gov Ball Punch, made with BACARDÍ Superior Rum, BACARDÍ Coconut Flavored Rum, coconut water and pineapple juice; and the BACARDÍ Mai Tai, made with BACARDI Superior, BACARDI Gold, Triple Sec, Monin Orgeat syrup, pineapple juice and lemon-lime sour were served-up all weekend to festival goers.

Next door on the BACARDÍ stage, the #SoundofRum came to life through hip-hop, rock and reggae. On Friday, performers included producer and DJ, Lophiile, British alt rock band, Wolf Alice, led by frontwoman, Ellie Rowsell, rapper Goldlink, with a closing set from Jamaican reggae artist Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley. On Saturday, performers included rapper Jay Electronica, Canadian rock band Japandroids, with a closing set from Silk City (Diplo and Mark Ronson) who made their festival debut on the BACARDÍ Stage playing hits by Cardi B and Kelis.
