On Thursday, November 30th, fashion designer Michelle Smith of MILLY, jewelry designer Dana Bronfman, and artist Sarah Meyohas hosted a holiday shopping event to support Publicolor at MILLY’s store at 158 Mercer Street. Publicolor students painted an installation before the event with Michelle Smith and Sarah Meyohas, who designed the mural.
Guests shopped MILLY’s exclusive ready-to-wear, new arrivals and minis, while they browsed fine jewelry by Dana Bronfman and art by Sarah Meyohas. Guests enjoyed cocktails and refreshments while while DJ Louie XIV spun some tunes. Proceeds from the event went to Publicolor’s programs.
MILLY is proud of its longstanding relationship with Publicolor. Bringing together bold color and design to positively impact public education and New York’s neediest communities is the perfect fit for their company and employees. Helping their next generation build its future and leveling the playing field for all are core MILLY values.
Publicolor Board Member and MILLY’s Co-Founder, Andy Oshrin said, “Most recently, we hosted a Store event where Publicolor students collaborated with artist Sarah Meyohas and Milly creative director, Michelle Smith, to symbolically paint a wall of our Soho Boutique. We were thrilled to donate 40% of the event’s proceeds.”
