Stephanie Watine Arnault, Founder and CEO of Clos19, held three intimate dinner parties in one evening to celebrate the brand’s U.S. launch on November 2nd. The dinners were co-hosted with Vanity Fair’s Derek Blasberg, fashion designer Heron Preston, and Visionaire co-founder Cecilia Dean. The dinners took place simultaneously at NYC’s Jack Studios.
The star-studded guest list included, Heron Preston, Xin Li and Lyor Cohen, Daniel Arsham, JiaJia Fei, Simon Spurr, Nicole and Michael Colovos, Michael Xufu Huang, Marina Testino, Dylan Sprouse, Michael Avedon, Maria Buccellati, Lucrezia Buccellati and David Wildenstein, Jordun Love, Corentine Huard, Johnannes Huebl, Duckie Thot, Maria Borges, Paloma Elsesser, Coco Baudelle, Kyle Demers, Yara Flinn.
The evening commenced with an introduction to a range of champagnes from the Clos19 portfolio, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Moët & Chandon Rosé Grand Vintage 2008 and Veuve Clicquot Demi Sec which were all paired with hors d’oeuvres including Maine lobster and a Braised short rib tartlet. Jack Studios was beautifully transformed to take guests on a sensorial journey with stunning, fragrant florals, eclectic music and intimate lighting while highlighting the New York City Skyline.
Stephanie Watine Arnault welcomed guests to the launch event and showcased a short film created by Academy Award Nominee filmmaker Mike Mills, which is part of the new Clos19 Ad campaign entitled “Bring them In”. One of the aims of Clos19 is to inspire memorable moments by bringing circles of friends together and enhance opportunities of genuine connection, which is beautifully illustrated in the film and Ad campaign.
Each co-host then held a small dinner of around 20 people within individually created spaces at Jack Studios. Cecilia Dean took the theme of “Bring them in” by asking each of her selected guests to invite someone new who would then widen the circle. Heron Preston contributed to the overall entertainment of the evening by curating the playlist throughout and by providing a dynamic dj set after the dinner. DerekBlasberg added his inimitable hosting style to his intimate dinner and welcomed friends, old and new. Guests enjoyed Veuve Clicquot, Extra Brut Extra Old paired with Burrata and Salsa Verde followed by Moët and Chandon Grand Vintage 2008 and Black cod paired with Cloudy Bay or Tournedos accompanied by Cheval des Andes 2013. Polaroid cameras on the tables encouraged the guests to create memories and take reminders of the unforgettable evening with them. After the dinners, guests were welcomed into the bar area by Krug Grande Cuvée and Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009 served in Jeroboams. The night continued with Volcan Tequila, Belvedere and Hennessy VS cocktails whilst Heron Preston curated the sounds.
