An evening of dance celebrates the legacy of José Limón and a generation of emerging choreographers on Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m.

WHO: City College Center for the Arts and the José Limón Dance Foundation present the Limón Dance Company in an evening dedicated to the enduring legacy of pioneering dancer-choreographer José Limón. The celebration will include performances of two of Limón’s most acclaimed works, The Moor’s Pavane: Variations on the Theme of Othello (1949) and A Choreographic Offering (1964), each being presented to audiences in Harlem for the first time since Limón Dance Company moved to the iconic neighborhood two years ago. The program will honor those crafting the future of dance as the company will also present bold new dance works by Adam Barruch, Rosie Herrera and Yin Yue.
