Fivestory New York & Kiki de Montparnasse’s Naughty Pop-Up Shop Collab

High-end specialty retailer Fivestory New York has partnered with luxury lingerie and lifestyle brand Kiki de Montparnasse for an exclusive pop-up shop running September 12 to October 2, 2017. In celebration of its fifth anniversary, the Upper East Side multi-brand boutique has created a new space on the fourth floor of its iconic townhouse for a series of curated collaborations—starting with Kiki de Montparnasse. This will be the only place lovers of the brand will be able to touch, try on and play with the Fall-Winter 2017 collection in person.

“Empowering women is something both Fivestory and Kiki de Montparnasse thread through the fabric of their brands,” explains Claire Distenfeld, Founder of Fivestory New York. “Kiki is all about experimentation, exploring a woman’s sensuality and expanding her imaginations—and boundaries. To us, that is what we strive to do every day within the Fivestory brand: opening our customers’ eyes and minds to new things, new experiences and to weave a story within their lives of fantasy, strength and self-expression.”

Kiki de Montparnasse’s Fall-Winter 2017 collection is inspired by the anything-goes attitude of New York City and includes luxurious tools of sensual expression from lingerie to ready-to-wear and instruments of pleasure. It is erotic visual storytelling; a tantalizing tale told through hand-crafted items made of the highest quality materials like silk, chiffon, cotton and lace. The newest collection features flowing lines, and minimalist design appealing to a high-end clientele that enjoys the premium—and provocative.

“Every item in the Fall-Winter 2017 collection is intrinsically Kiki de Montparnasse: a sensual, sophisticated affair that will excite both new and longtime admirers,” describes Jose Velasco Vega, Creative Director for Kiki de Montparnasse. “Fivestory New York embraces our vision that all women should have the confidence and liberty to express their sensuality and we are honored that they have given us the space to share it with the world.”

Beyond the pop-up experience at Fivestory New York, Kiki de Montparnasse is also relaunching its digital presence and New York City atelier offering private consultations and the opportunity for customers to have their favorite pieces custom made by our designers. For information and updates,

In 2012, New York-based father-daughter duo Claire and Fred Distenfeld founded Fivestory. They transformed an Upper East Side townhouse into a space that embodies old-world elegance and modern innovation and that has become a treasure trove of the world’s finest items. It is a nod to not only the building but also to the distinct stories and histories behind each product placed within its walls. Today, these stories are reflected in renowned international ready-to-wear designers, alongside cutting-edge creatives; in exclusive Fivestory collaborations, in impeccably created accessories, fine and fashion jewelry, and home décor that span the globe. Collectively these items create a new, dynamic story: the story of Fivestory New York and its customers, who come to enrich their own tales with the boutique’s rare offerings.
