Last night Grammy-Award winning, Alabama Shakes kicked-off Fleet Week New York festivities by performing a riveting 90-minute set on the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum for sailors and their supporters at the second annual USO and Sailor Jerry Welcome Party.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum to perform for our military during the great American tradition of Fleet Week New York,” shared Alabama Shakes lead singer and guitarist, Brittany Howard.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum partnered with the USO of Metropolitan New York to celebrate Fleet Week and our service members visiting New York. The partnership is a special passion point for Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, created to honor the late Norman Collins.
Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum was created to honor the life and legacy of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, a Navy Veteran who dedicated much of his life to tattooing sailors on their shore-leave in post-WWII Honolulu. Today, the rum the bears his name celebrates his legacy by honoring our serving military.
