All experience levels are welcome; just remember to bring you mat and some water. And leave time after the session to explore the museum; admission is included with your ticket!
Find your moment of zen at the Brooklyn Museum with Art of Yoga. Dana Flynn, Director of Laughing Lotus NY and BK, leads a restorative session in the museum’s gorgeous Beaux-Arts Court before the museum opens to the public. All experience levels are welcome; just remember to bring some water. No mat? No problem! Manduka has generously provided mats for use at all Art of Yoga events. Come and find your moment of zen with us.
Class ends with a brief performance and music meditation featuring a string trio presented by Groupmuse; then you’re free to enjoy the museum at your leisure — admission is included with your Art of Yoga ticket. We recommend staying for the guided pop-up talk exploring connections between yoga and art in the Museum’s collection. You can even enjoy lunch in the on-site café.
It’s a Saturday sanctuary.
