In the heart of Downtown Montreal, the new Renaissance Montreal (which made its stylish debut last month) is offering guests a chance to rediscover the magic of winter as an official hotel sponsor of Montreal en Lumière, one of the largest winter festivals in the world.
Open Feb. 18 – March 5, this annual event combines performing arts, gastronomy, outdoor activities, and nighttime celebrations, including the traditional La Nuit Blanche on Feb. 27. La Nuit Blanche, which originated in France as an all-night arts festival, will entertain night owls with more than 200 free activities ranging from concerts to exhibitions with complimentary shuttle transportation throughout the city.
At Renaissance Montreal, the rooftop will be open on Feb. 27 for a special “Mixodiology” event, a fête inspired by the marriage of mixology and music that will transport guests around the world. Guests and visitors will sample a series of finely crafted cocktails, each inspired by a different corner of the globe, while a DJ spins music that weaves in beats reflective of each drink’s origin. It will be a unique sensory experience of rhythm and taste.
