DIY Face Masks

Face feeling dried out? Flakey? Oily? Winter is tough on the skin. Here are the best home made DIY face masks to keep your skin hydrated and looking gorgeous this winter.

Papaya Pigment Mask

Best for: Sun spots, hyper-pigmentation, and uneven skin tones.

1. Blend together two tablespoons of honey

2. Mix in half a cup of mashed ripe papaya

3. Apply on the face evenly for roughly 20 minutes

4. Rinse off with room tempurature water

5. Moisturize

Strawberry Scrub Mask

Best for: Oily, acne prone skin

1. De-stem strawberries and put in blender

2. Blend in 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon brown sugar

3. Apply to face using a circular scrubbing motion, lightly, as the brown sugar is a natural exfoliant

4. Leave on face for 10 – 15 minutes

5. Wash off with warm water

6. Moisturize

Avocado Mask

Best for: Dry, flakey skin

1. Mash 1/2 ripe avocado, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

2. Apply to face for 10 – 20 minutes

3. Wash off with room temperature water

4. Moisturize
